Sometimes we like to see ancient things that are found around the world. As discoveries and exploration are being made, there are many places that you can choose to visit that are considered ancient. With the help of technology development, we can now know information and so we can be educated and we can also have a certain place as a target to discover or also explore. Let us see some of the ancient buildings.

Hagia Sophia This building serves as a mosque, cathedral and a museum.The building was said to be the banner of the Byzantine period that stood until this time.

Next is the one located on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt which was built around 565AD. This is the Monastery of St. Catherine. This monastery serves as a retreat site and a place to worship.

The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, West Bank, Israel which was made also during 565AD. The building is still in used and services are being done their everyday.

Castel Sant’ Angelo in Rome, Italy which was built in 139AD. This has been a place that serves multiple purposes since it was built. It became a prison, castle, fortress, mausoleum, and museum.
